Detroit City Clerk
Detroit was ground zero for suspicious behavior in the 2020 election - vans full of ballots without any chain of custody arriving in the middle of the night; windows of the Detroit counting center card-boarded over so nobody could see what was going on inside, vote-counting stopping in the middle of the night in tandem with other swing states with Joe Biden mysteriously moving into the lead when counting resumed; Republican poll challengers thrown out of vote counting centers, etc. Voters need to know what Detroit election officials are up to in order before there can be confidence in the 2024 election results.
6/17/24 - SM24 asked Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey, “What is the process for removing noncitizens from the voter rolls and is it being done?” There was NO RESPONSE. [6/27/24 UPDATE - SM24 notified the Wayne County Clerk, “Your failure to respond has been publicly reported. If you want to inspire confidence in the 2024 election in Michigan, you will reconsider.”
