Wayne County Clerk
Detroit in Wayne County was ground zero for suspicious behavior in the 2020 election - vans full of ballots without any chain of custody arriving in the middle of the night; windows of the Detroit counting center card-boarded over so nobody could see what was going on inside, vote-counting stopping in the middle of the night in tandem with other swing states with Joe Biden mysteriously moving into the lead when counting resumed; Republican poll challengers thrown out of vote counting centers, etc. Voters need to know what Wayne County election officials are up to in order before there can be confidence in the 2024 election results.
6/25/24 - An SM24 reader sent this question to the Wayne County Clerk, but has not yet received an answer: “I am interested in how the county can assure only citizens will be voting. I have spoken to many in my community and that seems to be a concern. It isn't a party question, it is a universal concern. Also, we are aware there can be no removal changes to the QVF 90 days prior to the elections. If we were to submit an affidavit that someone has died or moved, would they be at the least be put in the verify status, even if it is after the 90 days, for example 60 days?" [6/27/24 UPDATE - SM24 notified the Wayne County Clerk, “Your failure to respond has been publicly reported. If you want to inspire confidence in the 2024 election in Michigan, you will reconsider.”
